Includes original hinged felt box, outer two-part cardboard box and Tom Mulcahy's business card. Provenance: Estate of Thomas P. Mulcahy (Professional Baseball Player for Pittsburgh Pirates, Coach for numerous teams, Front Office with San Diego padres, 1932-2021). A large engine with a 2.67 cu. in. displacement (cid), weighs 3.75 pounds with its 17.125-in propeller. It was advertised at .5 hp. The Baby was available in inline two-, three-, and four-cylinder configurations. The Baby used a bronze, bushed, split-aluminum crankcase, a cast-iron cylinder bolted to the lower case, a three-ringed aluminum piston, a carburetor with a float, and side-port, piston-timed induction.

The daughter of Parisian couturier Jack Spaner and his wife Jacqueline Brassiens, the former Janine Spaner (1928-2019) moved to New York in the 1950s, where she worked as office manager of the Air France office on lower Broadway. She returned to Paris with the goal of finding a husband, and, on a lark, answered an ad in Le Monde placed by a "Couple de diplomates" in search of a "secretaire particuliere." A large engine with a 2.67 cu. in. displacement (cid), weighs 3.75 pounds with its 17.125-in propeller. It was advertised at .5 hp. The Baby was available in inline two-, three-, and four-cylinder configurations. The Baby used a bronze, bushed, split-aluminum crankcase, a cast-iron cylinder bolted to the lower case, a three-ringed aluminum piston, a carburetor with a float, and side-port, piston-timed induction.
